I just installed the mod and it works when I run the fame. But in the Installation Instructions, under Font Installation it says:
"Open up the "Install These Fonts" folder, included within the download..."
Well, there is no such folder, there is a 'Font' folder but that is all. There are many fonts in that folder, I select them all then right-click but there is no 'install' option.
After looking in this newest version, this appears to be entirely true. It should be a simple fix, however. The files you can install from the Fonts folder are the TrueType font files. Sort the folder by file type, and you can easily select all of them to right click->install.
The ability to play the vanilla version of a game after installing a mod depends on several factors, including the nature of the mod, how it's installed, and the game itself.
Here are some general considerations:
Mod Type: Some mods are designed to be compatible with the vanilla version of the game, allowing you to switch between the modded and vanilla versions seamlessly. Others may alter the game files irreversibly, making it more challenging to revert to the vanilla version without reinstalling the game.
Installation Method: If the mod is installed using a mod manager or a separate launcher, it may be easier to enable or disable the mod as needed, allowing you to switch between the modded and vanilla versions. If the mod requires manual file replacement, it could be more complex to revert to the vanilla version.
Save Compatibility: Mods can sometimes affect saved games. If the mod significantly alters game mechanics or adds new content, your existing saves may not be compatible with the vanilla version.
Developer Support: Some games have official modding support and tools provided by the developers. In such cases, it's often easier to manage mods and switch between the modded and vanilla versions. Check the game's official forums or modding community for guidance.
Backup Your Game Files: Before installing any mod, especially if it's your first time modding the game, it's a good practice to make backups of your game files or create a copy of your game installation folder. This allows you to easily restore the game to its original state if needed.
Before installing a mod, carefully read the mod's documentation or instructions. Mod authors often provide guidance on compatibility, installation, and whether the mod can be safely removed.
Remember that modding is done at your own risk, and it's essential to follow the instructions provided by the mod author and the game's community. If in doubt, you can seek help from the modding community or the game's official forums for guidance on using mods alongside the vanilla version.
it's important to note that some mods may alter the game files in a way that makes it difficult to revert back to the vanilla version without uninstalling the mod or using additional tools. Additionally, some mods may require specific game versions or updates to function properly, which could affect your ability to play the vanilla version until you remove or disable the mod.
Before installing any mods, it's a good idea to check the instructions provided by the mod developer or community to understand how the mod works and whether it allows you to easily switch between the modded and vanilla versions of the game.
