Fildena Super Active is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains sildenafil citrate as its active ingredient. Sildenafil citrate is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitor, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis, enabling men to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused. Like other PDE-5 inhibitors, Fildena Super Active should be taken about 30 minutes to an hour before anticipated sexual activity. Sexual arousal or stimulation is necessary for the medication to work.
